*Drosophila* researcher Ruth Lehmann has been selected to present the 2018 Keith Porter Lecture at the 2018 ASCB/EMBO meeting, which takes place in early December in San Diego, CA, USA. Prof. Lehman is Director of the Skirball Institute of Biomolecular Medicine and Chair of the Department of Cell Biology at New York University.
