#  Special issue on science communication published October 2017

 The journal *Seminars in Cell & Developmental Biology* has published a [special issue focusing on science communication](http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/journal/10849521/70?sdc=1) or "SciComm" edited by *Drosophila* researcher Andreas Prokop together with Sam Illingworth. This October 2017 special issue includes articles focused on specific topics relevant to effective scicomm, such as reaching students, physicians, and other audiences. It also includes articles focused on specific resources, including resources focused on scicomm related to *Drosophila*.
