Yukiko Yamashita named Susan Lindquist Chair for Women in Science at the Whitehead Institute

Drosophila researcher Yukiko Yamashita will be joining the Whitehead Institute and becoming Prof. of Biology at MIT this fall. She will be joining as the inaugural Susan Lindquist Chair for Women in Science. Dr. Yamashita uses the Drosophila male germline as a model system to study stem cell biology.
